Before moving forward to how to Blogger domain name to custom domain name, first you’ll need to buy a domain name (.com, .org, .in, .co) from a domain registrar like GoDaddy, Google Domains, Namecheap, Bluehost and so many others or you can register your own custom government domain for free. You can select domain name based on your company/organization’s name, brand name or individuals with proof document. In the context of Nepal, you can buy free government domain (.np or.com.np) from https://register.com.np/.
Once you’ve purchased your own custom domain, you will be able to set up Blogger with your domain by following the below instructions.
Steps to Change Blogger Domain Name (.blogspot.com) to Custom Domain
- Sign in to your Blogger account and click on the “Settings“.
2. Scroll down, you will see an option “Publishing” Click on the “Custom domain“.
In the “Custom Domain” field, now you can enter your domain name that you have purchased. For example, your purchased domain is “www.yourblog.com” then you can enter “yourblog.com”.
But before that you will need to set up your DNS records with your domain registrar. you will need to create CNAME records: one for “www” and one for “ghs.google.com.” and add following 4 A-records that point to Google IPs.

Process of creating these records vary depending upon domain/hosting providers and it will take 12-24 hours to upgrade these records. You will be notified through email after all changes are done.
3. Now click on the “Save” button.

Once the changes have done, you will be able to access your blog at your custom domain.
With just above few simple steps, you can change blogger domain name with your own custom domain and start blogging.
Issues that you may you face during change blogger default domain to custom domain
It may be possible that you will face some custom domain setup issues please try below steps:
